As mentioned last year, the .COM registry has been approved to increase their pricing which they are now doing annually – and will continue in 2023 and beyond. The .BIZ registry has also been approved to increase its pricing in 2022 too.
easyDNS will be adjusting our price for .COM and .BIZ registration in reaction to the registry fee increases.
The price adjustment starts on Thursday 01 September 2022.
We recommend renewing your .COM and .BIZ domains as soon as possible to secure today’s cost for all the years you commit to now (renewals allow up to 9 years). I also want to point out that .NET pricing will be increasing in February 2023 as a result of an approved registry fee increase.
The new cost .COM registration will be $17/year and .BIZ registration will be starting at $22/year.
Thank you for your understanding.

Two questions: (1) What will .net increase be? (2) Do we have until 2/23 to renew .net at current rates?
Guy says
We don’t currently have the new rate for .NET established just yet – and yes, you can certainly renew anytime before 01 February 2023 and secure the current .NET rate.
Sisu Raiken says
My renewal date usually occurs in January. If I renew now I will get my current rate for 2/23 to 2/24? I gotta say it’s hard to negotiate through your email to figure out exactly what you are saying. Please respond – [redacted]@gmail.com.

You don’t lose any time if you renew early, it gets added on to your remaining time and you lock in your price.

Anyone who thinks that’s bad, I noticed that domains in the
Philippine TLD have gone up from $80 a year to $135 a year.
The cost of a .ph domain is proving to be a real acid test! ^_-
Anyways it looks like my choice of .ca paid off in the long run.
Shoulda bought a .ca bro…
