As of 19 February 2019, MX.EASYMAIL.CA will stop accepting IMAP and POP connections. As previously mentioned, MX.EASYMAIL.CA is no longer a viable host to connect to for accessing your email, while this is still functioning for the moment it will result in significantly degraded functionality. After the morning of Tuesday the 19th of February, MX.EASYMAIL.CA will no longer be accepting IMAP or POP connections, so it will no longer be possible for that hostname to be used in email client server settings.
We ask that you update the setting in your mail program for inbound delivery to either IMAP.EASYMAIL.CA or POP.EASYMAIL.CA.
MX.EASYMAIL.CA is for use only in the MX record in DNS to direct email to your account, the vast majority of our clients are correctly checking their email through IMAP.EASYMAIL.CA or POP.EASYMAIL.CA. If you think you may be one of the very few who does have a mail client looking to MX.EASYMAIL.CA to download your email you will need to update that setting sometime this week.
Thank you for your co-operation and sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Do the helper DNS entries on the domain (the ones used to automatically configure an email client) point to the proper imap and pop entries?

So that’s why all my email stopped working while I was on vacation. An email notice would have been nice.

Sorry about that, we should have done so sooner.
