We wanted to inform you of a domain name price increase that starts September 1, 2023. A number of TLD registries are adjusting prices over the next year. The .com, and .ca registries are leading the pack.
Now would be a great time to RENEW, TRANSFER IN or REGISTER NEW .com, .org and .ca domains at the current, lower price before time runs out.
On September 1, 2023, our price for .com and .org will increase by 2 USD to 19 USD for Domain Plus, and .ca will increase by 2 CAD to 17 CAD for Domain Plus. There will be adjustments both up and down to hundreds of other gTLDs and ccTLDs, which is a list too long to include here. These changes will also apply to DNS Standard, DNS Pro, and Enterprise service levels associated with these TLDs.
Did you know that you can advance renew your domain name expiry up to 10 years? On top of saving yourself from this increase, if you add multiple years you can save even more by taking advantage of our multi-year discounts which can increase your savings by up to 20% per year!
When registering or renewing your domain, make sure you increase the years being purchased by clicking the dropdown and selecting the higher term you want with 10 years providing the biggest discount.

Click Here does not take me to Renewals? Where is renewals?
Peter Ejtel says
Hi Mark, sorry about the confusion. That link takes you to your Domains Overview Page. You can then select an individual domain to access the renewal link. You can also access the bulk renewal form located here: https://cp.easydns.com/manage/renewals/

Hi there,
is there a list of which TLDs will be affected come 1 September?
Thanks, Sean
Peter Ejtel says
Hi Sean, unfortunately no. There are roughly 400 TLD’s with a price adjustment, and it’s too large of a list to publish.

Peter when did and/or what is the justification for pricing domain plus moving to usd. your article fails to be transparent on this, so unless there was an earlier notification on moving to USD Im struggling to renew here just on principle.
Peter Ejtel says
Hi Malcolm, really sorry that our communication hasn’t been better. The move to exclusive USD pricing has been in place for close to a year. Except for .CA which is still billed in Canadian, all of our registry costs are in USD. We absorbed most of the difference when offering Canadian pricing on non .CA TLDs for a very long time, and the exchange rate grew to a level we just couldn’t burden any longer. We sent a notice that discussed this back in December when announcing the move to daily updated bank exchange rates. We are trying harder on the communication side, so appreciate your patience.
