On Monday July 21st we will be updating the IP address for DNS2.EASYDNS.NET
Old IP: 72.52.2.1
New IP: 198.41.222.254
DNS2 will also acquire IPv6 transit using: 2400:cb00:2049:1::c629:defe
This should be completely transparent to all users. We mention it for the benefit of those using unauthorized vanity nameservers, which as we always stress will void your warranty, and break once we flip the switch.
The old IP will continue to function until July 31st.
