I think you need X number of people to say they like your page before you can have a facebook.com/name (to prevent people reserving/wasting names pointlessly)

To choose a username for your FB page, you need at least a 100 ‘Likes’ on the page. Thereafter, you can go to http://facebook.com/username, and choose a URL for your page.
