What is your registrar doing with your parked domains? Well if we’re your registrar, we’re just parking them. Optionally, we enable you to customize your parked pages in a variety of handy ways. But if we’re not your registrar, who knows? Most other registrars monetize their own customers’ parked domains by running pay-per-click ads on them, and then keeping the money.

GoDaddy’s parked ads are just trashy, and they don’t even render properly in Chrome. The text runs into other text blocks, the images show up jagged… And then they CHARGE YOU if you’d like to put your own ads on there!

How can I find a lawyer to knows internet law? There are so many scams with domain names, etc. that I need to know my rights. I live in New York and I need help and clarity. The internet is now a scary place.

Hi Claudia,
I’m afraid we can’t really provide recommendations for legal advice, as we’re not lawyers ourselves, and we’re in an entirely different country.
The best thing I can suggest is to google for local lawyers who specialize in IT or Internet related issues, then check reviews on each one and see if they are well thought of.
If you have any specific questions regarding your own domain name, or are having an issue with it, please drop us an email at support@easydns.com and if we can help, we’ll be happy to do so.
