Registry Lock For security and redundancy for your mission-critical **.COM, .NET or .CA** domain, easyDNS offers Registry Lock in conjunction with the Registry.

In addition to your [easyDNS account security mechanisms](https://kb.easydns.com/knowledge/account-security/), **your domain will be locked at the registry level**. This adds an extra layer of security to prevent hijacking, intentional or accidental deletions, transfers, or whois modifications.

Doing so enables a multi-factor lock on the domain, protecting it from unauthorized modifications.
